Do not stand by my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glint on snow I am the gentle autumn rain Do not stand by my grave and cry I am not there I did not die. Do not stand by my grave and mourn I am not there I've been reborn I am the swaying oak in the park I am the roots, the leaves, the bark I am the snow on Christmas day I am the tides that change in the Bay Do not stand by my grave and grieve I am not there I have been freed. So dry your eyes and shed no more tears Open your minds, release your fears Look with your hearts and you'll see I'm engrained in your memory. You were the best of what I was And I'll be there for you because Wherever you may go And whatever you might do Whenever you need a friend I'll be there in you. Love, Auntie Ellen xx
